Drew Canavero
I was first exposed to CrossFit in early 2007 while playing rugby for the University of Nevada, Reno. I saw dramatic improvements in my fitness. Impressed, and intrigued by this new Internet fitness phenomenon, I began working shortly thereafter as an apprentice-coach for a local affiliate. I received my Level 1 certification a year later in August 2008, and have been working tirelessly since then to improve as an athlete and coach.
I’ve worked with hundreds of people with varying athletic backgrounds, from adolescents to the elderly, to the aspiring collegiate athlete, the weekend warrior, and reformed couch potatoes. I’ve had the privilege to be instructed by and learn from some of best minds in strength and conditioning, from within and outside the broader CrossFit community.
