James White

I was first introduced to Crossfit in 2007 by a friend while coaching at Dunne’s Gymnastics in Hebron Connecticut. After seeing the drastic improvement in not only myself, but the gymnasts I worked with, I was sold. I continued training doing mostly gymnastics specific WODs and any power lifting in various gyms I worked as a personal trainer. In 2009 I decide it was necessary to train at a Crossfit facility if I wanted to further myself and development as an athlete. I worked out at Central Connecticut Crossfit, at Richardson Kick boxing until I joined the Navy in Mid 2009. Once in the navy I trained with whatever facility I could through deployments, until I found OV Fit where I train and bestow my knowledge of Gymnastics and other applicable training tips. I have had the privilege to train with some of the best gymnasts around the world, as well as the honor to train some of the most amazing people in small towns around the East Coast. I am more than lucky to combine the two in the Crossfit community especially with the OV Fit Family at Crossfit Norfolk.
