My name is Logan and I’m a Level I Certified CrossFit Trainer and a full-time attorney. I was introduced by a friend to CrossFit four years ago and I was skeptical (and admittedly intimidated!) The workout that was presented was 15 minutes in length and my “classmates” were fitness magazine cover material. I, at the time, had conformed to the popular philosophy that chronic cardio was the prescription for fitness, so things didn’t quite add up at that first class….until I was 7 minutes into that workout. That workout changed my life and I vowed I would never return to my old workout regimen.
I trained with this group for a year and I saw incredible results. I was leaner, stronger, faster and more excited about working out than I had ever been before (not to mention I was spending drastically less time in the gym!) I continued training on my own with a few friends until I was certified in April of this year at which time I joined the OVFit family.
As a trainer, I am especially interested in others knowing two things:
- 1) It’s all mental! You are able to do so much more than you think you can, but you have to be willing to try and
- 2) CrossFit is for everyone. Whether you’re 80 years old, 100 pounds overweight or an Olympic athlete, CrossFit will meet your needs.
